1. Nature of This Service
Bellevue Residents Directory is a privately operated reference to public record indexes, rolls, and directory collections relevant to Bellevue, Nebraska. It does not host government records and has no affiliation with the City of Bellevue, Sarpy County, Nebraska agencies, courts, libraries, or any other records custodian.
2. Permitted Use
Use this service only for lawful purposes. You may not use it, or information reached through it, to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person
- Locate someone protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit identity theft or fraud
- Make FCRA-regulated decisions (credit, employment, tenant, insurance)
- Scrape, copy, or republish the site's content at scale
- Interfere with the site's operation or security
Government-record restrictions still apply. Nebraska voter-register access is controlled by Neb. Rev. Stat. §32-330, and confidential or private data is withheld under §32-331. Vital records require proper purpose; juvenile, adoption, sealed, expunged, protected-address, victim, medical, and similar court information can be excluded from public access. DMV personal information is restricted under the federal Driver’s Privacy Protection Act and Neb. Rev. Stat. §§60-2901–60-2912.
3. Not a Consumer Reporting Agency
Bellevue Residents Directory is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. §1681 et seq. Neither information on this service nor results returned by a linked tool are consumer reports. They may not be used to determine eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or any other FCRA-covered purpose.
4. External Sites
Government portals and third-party services, including sponsored search tools, operate under their own terms and policies. We do not control their content, pricing, availability, or data practices.
5. No Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that material is complete, current, or accurate, or that a linked portal will operate or return correct results.
6. Limits of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from use of this service or a linked resource, including decisions based on records reached through it.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold the service operators harmless from claims or demands, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.
8. Intellectual Property
The original text, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. You may link to pages and quote short excerpts with attribution. Republishing full pages or systematically copying content is not permitted.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms by posting an updated version here. Continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance.
10. Access Restrictions
We may block or limit access, without notice and at our discretion, for a user who violates these terms or misuses the service.
11. Governing Law
Nebraska law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The Nebraska Public Records Statutes, Neb. Rev. Stat. §§84-712–84-712.09, govern access to public records held by government custodians, subject to statutory exemptions. The Nebraska Data Privacy Act, Neb. Rev. Stat. §§87-1101–87-1130, is the state consumer-privacy framework and remains subject to its scope and exemptions. These terms do not alter a custodian’s duties or any record-specific restriction.
12. Severability
If a provision of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
